O Ministério Público do Estado de São Paulo (MPSP) denunciou dois homens por terem falsificado bebida alcoólica que cegou uma mulher em Guarulhos (SP), em setembro de 2025. A denúncia foi feita pela 16ª Promotoria de Justiça Criminal de Guarulhos. De acordo com o MPSP, um dos denunciados era proprietário e responsável por estabelecimento comercial na Avenida Guarulhos. Ele adquiria bebidas de diversos fornecedores sem exigir documentação fiscal sobre a origem dos produtos, priorizando aqueles que ofereciam os menores preços. Em 27 de setembro de 2025, uma mulher que ingeriu bebida alcoólica no estabelecimento apresentou grave intoxicação por metanol e precisou ser internada. O quadro provocou perda completa e permanente da visão nos dois olhos. "Posteriormente, em 15 de outubro de 2025, foram apreendidas no estabelecimento diversas garrafas de vodca, parte delas sem comprovação de origem e procedência. A perícia constatou que oito amostras continham metanol em concentrações entre 34,6% e 40,9%, concluindo tratar-se de bebidas adulteradas, impróprias ao consumo e gravemente nocivas à saúde", informou o MPSP em nota. Os dois homens foram denunciados na última sexta-feira (25) e poderão responder por falsificação de produto destinado ao consumo e lesão corporal.
