E vamos manter essa vantagem. Vamos manter uma postura firme e decidida. Não vou sufocar o crescimento de algo que será maior do que a Revolução Industrial”, disse. Na última semana, líderes da indústria da IA nos EUA defenderam uma desaceleração no ritmo de desenvolvimento dos modelos mais avançados, que estariam evoluindo mais rapidamente do que os mecanismos de controle e segurança. O especialista Ettore Arpini, do Plures, destacou que é problemático chamar a IA de superinteligência, o que pode mais confundir que ajudar, e favorecer a posição dos EUA na corrida pelo controle global da IA. “Tem uma dimensão política também, porque em Washington tem uma narrativa de que os Estados Unidos liderem a IA.
