O dólar fechou abaixo de R$ 5 nesta sexta-feira (23), e a bolsa brasileira subiu no último dia útil antes do segundo turno das eleições presidenciais. O petróleo avançou mais de 3%, atingindo o maior patamar desde abril, com o agravamento das tensões no Oriente Médio. No mercado doméstico, investidores ajustaram posições antes da votação de domingo (25), com as tensões geopolíticas no Oriente Médio impulsionando os preços da commodity no exterior. O movimento ocorreu no último pregão antes do segundo turno das eleições presidenciais. Investidores ajustaram posições diante das expectativas para o resultado da disputa entre o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) e o senador Flávio Bolsonaro (PL). A moeda brasileira apresentou o melhor desempenho entre as principais divisas globais, mesmo com a valorização do dólar no exterior. Por volta das 17h, o índice DXY, que mede a força da moeda estadunidense diante de uma cesta de moedas fortes, subia 0,19%, aos 101,799 pontos. Ibovespa Principal índice da B3, o Ibovespa fechou em alta de 0,47%, aos 205.082,56 pontos. O volume financeiro negociado na sessão somou R$ 30,7 bilhões. Apesar do avanço desta sexta-feira, o índice acumulou queda de 0,17% na semana, marcada pela cautela dos investidores diante da eleição presidencial. No acumulado de outubro, a bolsa registra valorização de 10,06%. Em 2026, a alta chega a 27,28%. A sessão também foi marcada pela alta de ações de petroleiras e mineradoras, acompanhando a valorização do petróleo e do minério de ferro.
